ESM Subject Matter Expert - Axial

UK, Macclesfield or SE, Gartuna or US, Wilmington

Join our External Supply & Manufacturing (ESM) team, where we are accountable for sourcing and supplying externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. We are organized in a Process Centric Organisation (PCO) with a high focus on cross-functional teamwork.

As an ESM Subject Matter Expert, you will primarily support the delivery of the Axial programme on behalf of ESM. You will provide subject matter expertise in a variety of Supply Chain, Digital, Data and Analytics areas.

Accountabilities

As an ESM Subject Matter Expert, you will feed into the global design for ESM, ensuring ESM requirements are represented in the programme. You will be responsible for the Change impact assessment and implementation plan for ESM, communication to stakeholders, and supporting process design and documentation. You will also be responsible for data review and cleanse, testing execution, training materials and supporting with training delivery, and coordinating transition to BAU.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Broad Supply Chain knowledge
- Broad Business Process knowledge (incl. ESM Processes)
- Extensive SAP ERP & MDG and APO/OMP and other system knowledge
- Experience in BPM, LEAN and Quality Assurance Processes
- Understanding data, process and system impact
- Change and Project experience
- Experience of operating in a global environment
- Experience with strategic projects and initiatives across multiple sites/teams
- Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills
- Experience working with suppliers / CMOs
- Ability to work with complexity and manage ambiguity

Desirable:

A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience in pharmaceutical and logistics environment
- SAP ERP and APO/OMP user
- Proven project delivery
- Demonstrated continuous improvement
- Demonstrated process standardisation
- Cross-process knowledge
- Safety Health and Environmental and GxP management knowledge
- Project Management, Change Management
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations involving data management and validation requirements
- Broader system knowledge EQV, S4 Hana, Java platforms, AWS etc...
