Graduate Resident Assistants, covering both Boys' and Girls' sport, on fixed term contracts for one academic year (2023/2024).
There are two posts available, ideally suited to outstanding graduates who wish to pursue a career in teaching and would like to gain a year of experience in a supportive environment.

Hockey
- Assist in the coaching of girls' games (netball, hockey, athletics and cricket) or boys' games (rugby, hockey and cricket). There is also a strong culture in other sports such as cross country, riding, swimming and tennis;
- Play an active role in the busy boarding community, playing a full part in the pastoral care of the children, within a dynamic and enthusiastic team;
- Reside in the boarding house with approximately year olds and help with prep, activities, weekend sports, trips and outdoor activities;
- Provide assistance in the classroom, fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of a teaching assistant;
- Support the department in administrative tasks.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications
- Educated to degree level.
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a genuine interest in a career in teaching and a passion for education;
- Personable, enthusiastic team player;
- Sustained energy and a sense of humour;
- The ability to relate to and empathise with children and young people;
- A sense of authority: firm but fair;
- Excellent administrative, organisational and ICT abilities;
- A proactive approach to engaging with young people is essential;
- A willingness to share expertise.
- Familiarity with boarding education.
