CIPFA is expanding our Training Services department and looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our positive and passionate team, supporting our students.


The postholder will be responsible for an allocation of students, supporting them through every aspect of the programme, ensuring they get the support and guidance they need to continue and achieve successfully; this includes keeping our data up to date to effectively manage this.

It is essential you have a good attention to detail, are organised and have a desire to support students to succeed.


Key tasks include but not limited to:

  • Provide efficient, effective, and proactive support and guidance for all learners studying with CETC (CIPFA Education and Training Centre).
  • Provide timely and appropriate information to employers, ensure compliance with contracts for bespoke/group programmes.
  • Manage the commercial agreements and invoicing arrangements.
  • Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across CIPFA to help ensure that business opportunities are followed through, services are improved, and duplication of effort is avoided.
  • To ensure compliance with CRM guidelines as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance and Data Protection within CIPFA and participate in follow up actions.
  • Proactively engage with new and existing CETC students to support the development of their plan for learning, providing advice and guidance on study, monitoring study progression, proactively providing advice and support where required to secure exam qualified status.
  • Act as first port of call for students to contact if they have queries about their programme of study.
  • Ensure student data relating to module selection and progress is updated and maintained effectively and actively monitored to ensure timely progression, and provision of support as required.
  • Produce and issue billing schedules and invoices for fees for students on bespoke programmes.
  • Liaise with employers to ensure invoice payments are agreed and work to reduce the bad debts of students/organisations.
  • Preparation of reports for employers detailing progress and exam results and liaison with employers as appropriate.
  • Assist in the administration of effective training delivery and student tracking,
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the student experience.
  • Attend events outside normal working hours in accordance with operational requirements.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a high level of knowledge of all CIPFA qualifications and assessment packages, actively seeking development and support when necessary.

Salary:
£24,500 per annum**
