The Training Services department is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an internal applicant to deliver an effective support service to non-apprentice students studying for a qualification with CETC, and also to their employers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide efficient, effective and proactive support and guidance for all learners studying with CETC.
  • Provide timely and appropriate information to employers, ensure compliance with contracts for bespoke/group programmes.
  • Manage the commercial agreements and invoicing arrangements.

CORPORATE AND STRATEGIC

  • Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across CIPFA to help ensure that business opportunities are followed through, services are improved and duplication of effort is avoided.
  • To ensure compliance with CRM guidelines as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance and Data Protection within CIPFA and participate in follow up actions.

OPERATIONAL

  • Proactively engage with new and existing CETC students to support the development of their plan for learning, providing advice and guidance on study, monitoring study progression, proactively providing advice and support where required to secure exam qualified status.
  • Act as first port of call for students to contact if they have queries about their programme of study.
  • Ensure student data relating to module selection and progress is updated and maintained effectively and actively monitored to ensure timely progression, and provision of support as required.
  • Produce and issue billing schedules and invoices for fees for students on bespoke programmes.
  • Liaise with employers to ensure invoice payments are agreed and work to reduce the bad debts of students/organisations.
  • Preparation of reports for employers detailing progress and exam results and liaison with employers as appropriate.
  • Assist in the administration of effective training delivery and student tracking,
  • Attend events outside normal working hours in accordance with operational requirements.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a high level of knowledge of all CIPFA qualifications and assessment packages, actively seeking development and support when necessary.
