London, Greater London, United Kingdom We Are With You Full time

With You are recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join them as a Communications Assistant, to support the delivery of our marketing and communications strategy as part of our Central Services team.

This role will join our Marketing and Communications directorate, an innovative team of people who are committed to raising the profile of With You and connecting with our stakeholders in new ways.

If you are looking to join a forward thinking, values-driven charity and can help us to raise awareness of the services With You provides, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Communications Assistant, you will help to deliver elements of our internal communications and engagement plans to inspire our people in our organisational strategy and help them to understand the part they play.

In this role, you will help to develop creative and targeted communications and content for our internal channels and events, ensuring that our staff feel informed, excited and motivated by the work that they do at With You.

Your day to day tasks will include:

  • Delivering day to day communications across regular all staff channels such as the weekly newsletter and digital platforms, creating written and designed content, video, or print materials
  • Supporting the roll out of new channels or digital platforms, as required
  • Crafting communications stories to raise awareness of the work in our services
  • Supporting the coordination, design and delivery of inperson and virtual events, including managing event logistics and attendance lists, creating content and producing resources
  • Supporting the team to be data and insight driven, helping to measure communications and engagement activity to drive continuous improvements
  • Contributing to team administration to support the effective running of the function.
  • Championing equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in all our communications and practices
This is a truly exciting role, joining an award winning team - there has never been a better time to join us

We're looking for demonstrable experience working in a similar environment, with the ability to use communication tools to achieve change.

You will have the ability to adapt your communication style to various platforms and audiences, with knowledge of using print, video or designed content across a range of formats.

It is really important that you can present complex information in a simple way and that you have a continuous improvement mindset, to enable our processes and approaches to run as smoothly as possible.

This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing and huge plans for growth, so it's important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively.

This role will work to a hybrid model, working from home and from our Central London office, therefore you will receive a London weighting of £2,759 per annum.

If you have a disability, a learning difficulty such as dyslexia or a medical condition which you believe may affect your performance during any aspect of our selection process, we'll be happy to make reasonable adjustments to enable you to perform at your best.
