PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE
To assist in the development and management of PIRC's communications strategy, client reporting and its relationship with various media. To contribute to appropriate content and tone in PIRC's communications

KEY JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce articles for PIRC's weekly client newsletter (PIRC Alerts) and client bulletins
  • Update and manage the editorial content of the PIRC and client websites
  • Contribute to media strategy in support of PIRC and client campaigns
  • Draft press releases
  • Maintain and develop PIRC's relationship with relevant journalists
  • Manage and post on social media sites
  • Distribution of client content
  • Outreach to clients on impact
  • Draft weekly and monthly client communications.
  • Obtain image permissions
  • Create quarterly engagement reports
  • Produce client annual report
  • Organise and promote webinars
  • Research and write articles for external media on behalf of PIRC and clients
  • Assist with materials for presentations at conferences, seminars, and other events
  • Carry out surveys to ascertain client needs
  • Collate and distribute quarterly client meeting papers
  • Distribution list management
  • Engage in general administration duties as required

KEY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Produces highquality written material to tight deadlines
  • Assists in producing articles that are delivered to publication deadlines
  • Prepares materials for presentations on behalf of PIRC for a range of audiences
  • Evidence of good relationships with key press contacts
  • Balances conflicting priorities to ensure that tasks are completed on time and of a high quality
  • Is able to identify fresh approaches and show a willingness to question traditional assumptions
  • Demonstrates understanding of the planning cycle and deadlines for key target media
  • PIRC and other websites kept updated with news and other content
  • Establish positive and effective working relationships both inside and outside the company
  • Year on year increase in knowledge area
