Job Description:

Join Home Instead Yeovil & Bridport as a compassionate Care Professional, working our evening shifts. Become a beacon of comfort and support for older people in your community, offering companionship, care, and joy. Enjoy the flexibility of our part-time evening positions, giving you the perfect balance between work and personal life.

Responsibilities:

  • Build enriching relationships with our clients through evening visits, offering companionship and warmth.
  • Create a homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparations.
  • Help clients settle down for a peaceful night, sharing in leisure activities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows.
  • Ensure clear communication with clients and their families, offering unrivalled care and reassurance.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience necessary; we offer topclass inhouse training.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills are a must.
  • You must have reliable transport for home visits, shopping trips, and various errands.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management are vital.
  • A genuine, caring nature is essential, with the knack to build trusting relationships.
