To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:
- A strong interest in working with young people with SEND.
- An understanding of additional learning needs.
- Experience motivating and facilitating young people to overcome barriers to learning or achieving goals.
- Problem solving and taking action to keep a young period focussed on their goal.
- Both selfmotivated with a 'can do' attitude and ability to motivate others.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or commitment to gaining within one year of commencement of employment.
- Level 3 Award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities, or willingness to work towards.
- Strong communication skills.
- A respect for confidentiality.
