Risk & Compliance Analyst (Data Privacy & Protection) Position at Innovation Banking

We're on the lookout for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Risk & Compliance Analyst (Data Privacy & Protection). This position falls under the COO department, reporting to the EMEA COO.

The Senior Associate, Information Security & Privacy, UK will collaborate with and report to the Senior Manager, Information Security & Privacy, UK, responsible for managing regulatory obligations related to privacy and information security at Innovation Banking.

In this role, you'll work alongside the Head of Information Security & Privacy to supervise and monitor Innovation Banking's adherence to current and upcoming laws and regulations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Information Security & Privacy in executing and upholding the Bank's information security and privacy operations.
  • Adhere to the applicable decision-making frameworks and RACI models to ensure that the Bank can furnish the necessary evidence to UK regulators concerning independence and risk management exercises.
  • Collaborate with the First and Second line of defense Controls, Risk, and Compliance units to supervise and assess outcomes like UK ROPA, DPIA and LIAs, DSRs, and data breach management.
  • Identify and oversee privacy and security risks through designated channels.
  • Support in formulating, evaluating, and executing policies, guidelines, and processes related to information security and privacy.
  • Evaluate the Bank's internal compliance monitoring in information security, privacy, and related compliance segments as per recognized key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Manage the Bank's Internal information security and privacy Forum by engaging with participants on agenda topics, preparing documentation, attending meetings, and taking minutes.
  • Assist in projects and/or initiatives that involve UK information security or privacy prerequisites.
  • Take part in and aid the information security and privacy training and awareness programs.
  • Encourage a culture of choice, control, transparency, and appropriate security in processing personal data by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help the Head of in advising on compliance, regulatory, and risk management matters relating to privacy and information security.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in information security, privacy, and broader risk management.
  • Competence in evaluating essential documents such as frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Privacy, Data Protection, and Information Security principles and protocols.
  • Adaptable and receptive with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Background in Risk and Compliance.
  • Capable of motivating, influencing, and energizing team members.
  • Meticulous and thorough approach to document evaluation.
  • High level of precision and attention to detail.
