Providing administrative support to the Trust Staff Networks (currently SOAR BAME Network, LGBTQI+ Network ((including Trans and Non-Binary Group)), Disabled Staff Network, Religion & Belief Network, Armed Forces Community, Carers Network and Women's Network).

Providing administrative and projects support to the Head of Equality & Inclusion and to the wider Inclusion team.

1b. It is recognised that 'inclusion' is a topic that can generate strong feelings. The postholder will use developed skills of persuasion, motivation, negotiation, empathy and reassurance to secure cooperation (incl. through credibility of their professional relationships with key stakeholders), overcome barriers to understanding, to advance in particular the Trust's inclusion value.

  • The postholder's role will involve contact with networks across Sussex Health & Care Partnership (SHCP, Integrated Care System); NHS England/Improvement (NHSE/I) SE Regional Equalities Team and network of Regional Equalities Leads; and with external community partner organisations and key community stakeholders. In these interactions, they are expected to be a good ambassador for the Trust, and to role model Trust Values & Behaviours.
