Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a Community Mental Health Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis until April 2023.

This role will be based in Epsom area, and the working hours will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Rated 'Good' in their most recent CQC report, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based and community services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire aswell as providing drug and alcohol services in Surrey and Brighton.

What you will be responsible for

  • Lead the clinical management of a care package to an individual who uses our services.
  • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of person centred healthcare to a designated group of people who use our services, using complex clinical decision making where appropriate.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy utilising CBT skills.
  • Work as a member of the MDT in assessing and planning care and responding to changes in people who use our services health.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.

You will have the following qualification/experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Community Mental Health Nurse for a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
