Deputy Care Manager - The Role

As a deputy manager, you'll collaborate closely with the Home Manager to ensure top-tier care standards. Your role involves mentoring the care team, leveraging your expertise to meet residents' needs.

Deputy Care Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Creating positive experiences for residents
  • Administering medications
  • Assisting in care plan development and staff training
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals on treatment strategies
  • Participating in resident review processes
  • Supporting staff growth and development
  • Conducting supervisions and training sessions
  • Contributing to home audits and manager meetings
  • Brainstorming ways to enhance resident outcomes

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • QCF Qualification
  • Prior team management experience
