Position Overview:


As a Homecare Complex Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex medical conditions.

We are looking for compassionate, skilled, and highly motivated individuals who can contribute to our mission of enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Moving and Handling: Expertise in implementing safe and efficient moving and handling techniques to reduce the risk of injury to clients and ensure their comfort.

Learning Disabilities Support: Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to develop essential life skills, fostering independence and self-confidence.

Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.

Personal Care: Assist with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining a respectful and dignified approach.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and the care team, ensuring all needs and concerns are addressed.

Qualification Preferences:

  • Previous experience as a Complex Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications and training in Tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, ventilation, and moving and handling are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patientcentered approach.
  • The ability to adapt to various client needs and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering highquality care.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation may be required.
