Trust Location:
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

What you'll be responsible for:

  • First point of contact for queries relating to pay and changes to terms and conditions of employment for staff within the Trust.
  • Maintain the HR record side of the ESR (Electronic Staff Record) ensuring accurate and timely payment of staff.
  • Liaise with the third party payroll provider to ensure that Trust policies and processes relating to pay are adhered to.
  • Advise on all terms and conditions of employment with regard to recruitment, ensuring that the procedures are carried out efficiently within the allotted timeframe.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of working in a fastpaced, busy HR or Payroll administration environment.
  • Essential to be completely IT literate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ESR and data input skills would be desirable.
  • This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
