Job scope:

Our client is one of the leading health and social care providers in and around London.

Our Living Well Team is looking for an experienced Activities Coordinator.


As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and vibrant community that promotes residents' overall wellbeing.

Your main responsibility will be to design and execute a comprehensive program of stimulating activities that cater to their social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs.


In your role as an Activities Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work closely with residents, getting to know them personally and understanding their unique interests, choices, and preferences.

Through careful planning and thoughtful execution, you will develop and deliver daily activities that provide both fun and meaning to their lives.


As an Activities Coordinator, you will also have the exciting responsibility of coordinating special events and supporting visiting artists, projects, and entertainers.

From organizing themed parties and cultural celebrations to arranging engaging workshops and classes, you will be the driving force behind a wide range of enriching activities.


In this dynamic and rewarding position, you will be empowered to use your creativity and passion to help residents lead as full a life as possible.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our team, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.


Do you have?

  • Relevant experience of supporting wellbeing in a care setting or community or arts and health setting
  • Experience of leading and delivering arts/recreational activities within a similar environment
  • Experience of working with older people, people living with dementia and varying abilities and needs.
  • Experience of managing volunteers or staff to assist with activities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the challenge of and sensitivity needed to support vulnerable people.
  • Understanding of the differing needs of residents including Physical Disability, Living with Dementia, Mental Health, and End of Life
