About of the Company:
The Salvation Army Reintegration Service offers short term housing and support for individuals reintegrating into the community post-release from prison.
These Bail Support roles involve managing allocated clients to ensure ongoing support during their initial Bail period living in a supportive home environment. Collaboration with Community Probations, Police, Family, and other organizations is vital. A bicultural approach is essential, with an understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi.
This is a 24/7 Supported Service with rotating shifts, including awake overnight duties.
About the Position:
The Reintegration Bail House Support Worker is accountable for managing the program and supporting the Bail Team to maintain excellence levels and foster a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive home environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Attend to the individual needs of each resident.
- Engage positively with residents' support systems.
- Communicate with residents to establish connections with wider community supports.
- Fulfill service administration obligations.
- Demonstrate mature and responsible decision-making and behaviors.

- Hold a current First Aid certificate and driver's license.
