Job Summary


Tell Us North CIC has an exciting opportunity for an imaginative, innovative, and keen Lead Officer who will be a central link in the delivery of Healthwatch services in Gateshead.

You will have good experience in public/community engagement and a knowledge of research.

You will lead, develop, and support a small team in its activities to deliver purposeful engagement, involvement, and research in the fields of health and social care.

This work will primarily focus on user experience and the provision of services to amplify and highlight improvement opportunities for decision-makers.


You will take ownership of the delivery of local projects and coordinate our engagement events in the locality, ensuring our work can demonstrate the public's experiences of health and social care to enable us to influence change with service providers.

Knowledge of UK health and social care systems is an advantage to the role, with further advantage given to those who have worked in or closely with the NHS health services or local authorities' social care services.
