The Radiology team at Princess Alexandra Hospital is actively looking to recruit a Radiology Inpatient Pathway Coordinator to provide a high standard of care to our patients, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Radiology department.


It's an exciting time to join the Radiology Department and you will be actively involved with new developments and innovations within the speciality of Radiology.


The role of Radiology Inpatient Pathway Coordinator is centred on providing an excellent level of patient care and organisation, to be front line and the main point of contact in Radiology for all In Patients who require a radiological investigation, whilst ensuring an efficient and comprehensive departmental patient flow.


The post holder will work unsupervised, prioritising workload on a daily basis and communicating with all key stakeholders across the organisation.

The post holder will be expected to undertake the role with flexibility and work closely with Trust colleagues to achieve Internal Professional Standards for imaging


This post holder will be expected to liaise with all roles and departments (MDT approach) to facilitate a smooth, timely and effective pathway for all patients on an In patient journey with a Radiology element.
