We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainer to join the External Training team during an exciting period of growth.

The role will consist of planning and delivering training courses within your responsible skillset, helping to transform the lives of our colleagues and customers by ensuring colleagues are inspired and developed to be the best they can, while delivering a world class service and training product offering to our customers.


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of training courses, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Identify training courses that could be offered directly or indirectly
  • Develop, review and maintain training course material as required
  • Help to coordinate and manage activities that affect operational training requirements
  • Provide product and compliance training to colleagues within the business
  • Manage and maintain the condition of the training environment such as materials, equipment and facilities
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers throughout Sunbelt Rentals to achieve company objectives
  • Provide technical assistance as and when required to both colleagues and customers
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Represent the company and values of the business at all times
  • Ensure company procedures are followed at all times

To succeed as a Trainer you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • An experienced trainer able to motivate and coach colleagues and customers
  • Be able to deliver training courses to the level specified
  • Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety, Training and Training Accreditation operational standards
  • Knowledge of courses such as IPAF, PASMA, Ladder Association, Confined Space, CITB, C&G and plant training
  • You'll be a skilled communicator and relationship manager. Able to coach, present and influence stakeholders and foster a collaborative and proactive approach with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Results driven
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, able to harness and coordinate resources
  • Good IT and analytical skills
