About the Role
RIBA is in search of an experienced Project Manager to join the House of Architecture Program team and oversee the renovation of the historical building at 66 Portland Place, London.
You will lead the project management of the building works, design process, and on-site operations. Responsibilities include representing RIBA, managing all aspects of the project, and reporting progress, budget, and risks to ensure smooth coordination with the external design team.
The House of Architecture Program involves the renovation of 66 Portland Place, establishment of a new home for the collection, organizational transition, and digital transformation of IT infrastructure and fundraising activities.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in architecture, engineering, historic preservation, or construction management
- Demonstrated track record in managing renovation projects for historical buildings
- Strong project management skills with expertise in planning and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder collaboration
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods and materials for heritage buildings
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality
- Experience in managing sustainable capital projects will be advantageous
- Previous experience representing clients will be advantageous
