Lindale recovery services is aimed at supporting service users who are not able to access traditional housing options, and have a requirement for specialist support service in regards to addiction, domestic violence and mental health.

The aim is to help support service users on their recovery journey using group process, one to one support and alternative therapies.

You will work closely with support workers, and offer 1-1 interventions as required.

Each resident will complete a 12-week day programme.


As a group facilitator, you will take a lead role in the delivery of daily group's according to a timetable.

You will be based within our recovery Hub.

We run a series groups that are recovery orientated, targeting relapse prevention, health and wellbeing, Life skills, emotional sills and coping strategies.

To help establish, develop and maintain a service based recovery community with direct links into the wider community

  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with local partners including educational providers & community leaders and supporting them to deliver interventions to Lindale's service users
  • To provide practical and emotional; support to enable service users to move forward in recovery.
  • To assess clients, prepare individual recovery plans and motivate service users to actively engage with their treatment journey
  • To deliver effective community based recovery focused interventions to clients
  • To minimise the risk to residents through motivational and preventative work.
  • Encourage service users to develop confidence and selfefficacy to make their own decisions with support, which may involve calculated risks.
  • To ensure the service user receives advice and support in developing life skills in relation to socialising, developing support networks, volunteering, training, education, employment, and leisure activities.
  • To accurately input service user data onto client data base in a timely manner ensure records are maintained to evidence compliance with service user specification and internal and external performance requirements.
  • To ensure compliance with Lindale policy and procedures.
  • To keep all necessary records as required.
  • To perform any other duties as deemed reasonable by the manager.
  • To assist and contribute to continually developing the service to meet the changing needs of the service user.
  • To keep up to date with issues nationally and ensure best is observed and adhered to.
  • To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with Lindale's equal opportunities policy.
  • Provide group psychosocial interventions relevant to drug and alcohol recovery.
Deliver relapse prevention Groups.

Work within a team of professionals with lived experience

  • Help residents develop links with local recovery/mutual aid groups.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the issues experienced by people affected directly and indirectly by substance and alcohol use, such as stigma, poverty, and discrimination._
