In this role, you will provide support and guidance to children and young adults and their families, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Engage with children, young adults, and families, providing support and guidance to promote independence.

  • Manage activities and sessional support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that exceed expectations.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during activities and sessions, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe environment for children and young adults.
  • Experience working with and supporting children, young people, and families aged 5-16 years and 17 and above.
  • Awareness of health and safety issues and strategies to mitigate risks when working with children and young people.
  • Qualifications in childcare, youth work, rehabilitation, habitation, social care, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in child support, enablement officer or a related role in the healthcare or social services sector with not less than 18 months in the United Kingdom.
  • Valid driving license or access to a car for travel.
  • Experience in managing activities or developing sessions for children, young people, or families.
