We are looking for a well-motivated, flexible and adaptable person who enjoys a challenge to join the busy ENT Admin Team.

This role will include preparing clinics, sitting clinic reception, and liaising with patients, clinicians and the rest of the ENT team.

The right applicant will ideally have previous clerical and customer service experience. You should be enthusiastic, motivated and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.

You will be expected to use your initiative and discretion, have an enthusiasm for your work and an excellent 'team' working ethos which is essential for our service to succeed.

  • To prep allocated consultants clinic notes
  • Sit on the main clinic and report patients attendance
  • Ensure all relevant information required for outpatient appointments is recorded in the case notes
  • To update any missing outcomes on reports
  • To attend inservice training meetings to ensure that skills knowledge are kept uptodate and appropriate to the post
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role and service needs.

About the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust: )

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of clinical and administrative correspondence.
  • Prioritise work in appropriate order to ensure work is completed within agreed targets times.
  • Clinic preparation specifically retrieval of notes, filing, tracking in and out.
  • Photocopying, filing, or any administrative duties as deemed necessary to support the patient journey.
  • To utilise the Track-IT system to update case note tracking.
  • To ensure all outcomes are recorded accurately both paper and electronic
  • To attend all mandatory training as required by the CMG/Trust
