Role

  • This role requires an enthusiasm for the bridal industry, whilst giving helpful advice to customers in relation to gown styles and accessories.


To assist with all aspects of sales and marketing, whilst assisting brides to find their dream gown within Sarah's Wedding Boutique.


Attributes

  • We are looking for a friendly, professional, and positive person to work on various days throughout the week, including Saturdays. Excellent organisational and social skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities include

  • Coordinating the paper and online appointment diary efficiently
  • Ensuring every appointment is approached with special attention to detail
  • Dealing with sensitive situations tactfully and professionally
  • Ensuring gowns are ready for the customer to try on at their convenience
  • The delicate handling of the gowns to safeguard from damage
  • Taking customer measurements accurately (bust, waist, hip)
  • Regular merchandising to maximise appeal and showcase new items, including the shop window display downstairs
  • Securing sales
  • Carrying out sales transactions
  • Recording all sale inventories correctly via paper and electronic means
  • Undertaking cashing up duties on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring that all monies tally
  • Ordering stock efficiently and effectively
  • Contributing towards housekeeping
  • Assisting with creating content to increase visibility on all social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
  • Sharing new ideas to promote Sarah's Wedding Boutique as a business
  • Assisting with Bridal Fayres, when required
  • Steaming and potentially boxing gowns, ready for collection

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour
