Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative RTT Coordinator to support the Elective Access and Performance Management aim is to ensure every patient receives high quality, safe and responsive care irrespective of their age, social status and/or the time of day, day of the week that they access our services.

Applicants will require exceptional organizational skills, comprehensive personal assistant skills, strong relationship management skills, and an ability to manage/ prioritize multiple requests and demands. You will be passionate about developing and coordinating process improvements and effective ways of working for the department.

The post holder will be in a unique position to respond to the needs of the team providing excellent organizational support to ensure there is an efficient and proactive response to the key challenges and deadlines for the Elective Access Team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of the elective access strategy and lead on all areas of elective access performance delivery for the Trust.

The post holder will lead at a corporate level within the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) to support performance delivery against all national elective access standards across all divisions.

Job responsibilities

To provide a comprehensive range of clerical & administrative support to the Head of Elective Access and Performance To arrange meetings and workshops, book meeting rooms and venues. To attend meetings and produce timely, accurate agendas, minutes, presentations and reports for Trust level RTT meetings to a high standard, with attention to detail as required, and to a high standard for external use within the wider healthcare system. To produce, update and maintain the RTT Remedial Action Plans and reports, using MS software to the requirements of the Head of Elective Access and Performance To produce, update and maintain the Clinical Harm Review Group spreadsheets, entering Datix information and tracking reporting as required. To support the Clinical Harm Review Group, analysing reports and creating pivot tables and graphs to raise escalation where necessary. To ensure project deadlines are being met and report variances to the Head of Elective Access and Performance

Must be proficient with MS Office 2000 software including Word, Outlook, Electronic scheduling, Databases/Spreadsheets and Powerpoint.

Experience

Significant previous experience in an administrative support role at Band 4 level or similar. Basic understanding of administrative requirements of project management Experience of working within a complex organisation
