Join our dedicated team at Kincaid House as a Senior Care Assistant working nights. This modern care home in Inverclyde offers stunning views of the River Clyde and surrounding mountains. Providing care for elderly residents and individuals with dementia, we are here to support your career growth.

Our mentorship program and continuous learning opportunities will empower you to enhance your skills and advance professionally.

If you're not currently a senior care assistant, you'll need to register as a supervisor with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).

Your responsibilities as a Meallmore Senior Care Assistant:

  • Support the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing and addressing individuals' holistic care needs.
  • Promote a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Engage with care teams across departments.
  • Conduct personal care tasks.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a care assistant/support worker role.
  • In progress towards meeting SSSC registration criteria.
  • Preferably hold SVQ level 3 or equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare.
  • Possess strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Display a kind and compassionate demeanor.
