They currently have opportunities in our Epsom, Bristol, Exeter, Swansea, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Belfast and Glasgow offices.Your Purpose
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Sound knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply and wastewater collection systems.
- Familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
- Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, Infoworks, EPANET.
They support flexible working arrangements and are interested to discuss how we can accommodate individual requirements, where there is no fixed 9 'till 5, no need for a 5-day week, no requirement for a full-time contract, and no requirement to spend all your working time in the office.
They offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy some or sell of that leave.
