About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Water Management Expert to join our team at Sweco UK. As a key member of our water design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs for water-related projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver water infrastructure projects, including non-infrastructure projects, to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for water management and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, including mentoring and training, to ensure the development of technical expertise.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including preparing capability statements and submitting tenders, to win new and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards with a relevant institution, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of water and wastewater non-infrastructure design, including process engineering and MEICA.
  • Extensive experience in design, contract, and tender preparation, tender assessment, and contract administration.
