A not-for-profit organisation who is focused on the engineering division is recruiting a Membership Officer to support who can organise and deliver projects, events and can engage with audiences of all ages and can deliver a sales and marketing campaign that will grow and improve the membership community alongside their engagement.

This job offers remote working flexibility but requires occasional travel to visit clients. This role will be part time - working 3 days a week remotely.


As a Membership Officer, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all members and prospective members, taking enquiries whilst providing a high level of customer service and updating the database, accordingly, creating membership marketing material to assess engagement and feedback from members and maintaining that the membership database is regularly updated alongside liaising with the finance team to ensure payment records are up to date and accurate.


You will have the following skills and experience:
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to analyse data and produce reports
Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or equivalent
Excellent telephone manner and able to communicate and sell effectively to a range of audiences
