We are seeking to appoint a 'Senior Learning Mentor - Intervention' who will be responsible for supporting with the day to day running of our 'Heads Up' provision ensuring that students are effectively supervised and that high standards of behaviour are achieved and students learning is maximised.

Educated to a high standard with a minimum GCSE grade C in English/Mathematics/Science (or equivalent qualifications).
Proven track record of successfully working with disaffected young people
Experience of assisting students with their learning
Strong listening/intervention skills
Ability to remain positive under challenging circumstances
Ability to manage emotional demands of working with young people with a wide range of behavioural, social and emotional problems
