LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Mentor to support students in a Alternative Provision in the High Peak area. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with students in KS3 and KS4, delivering a range of subjects and providing additional support to students with additional needs. The role will involve working independently with students to ensure academic progression and will require travel to students' homes, libraries, and other locations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience as a tutor/educator and have a strong understanding of supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. The school is looking for an ambitious and driven individual who can work effectively with students of varying abilities and provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering content on a 1:1 basis with students outside of the classroom setting and will work closely with the school's resources to provide additional support to students. The role will involve working with students who do not attend lessons and will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
