Major Recruitment Oldbury are recruiting for a world leader in the design, manufacturing and installation solutions who are seeking a Technical Administrator to start immediately for a minimum of three months.

The role will be office based (and is not hybrid or remote). The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm with a 4.30pm finish on a Friday. The role is on the outskirts of Halesowen.

Duties and tasks will include:

  • Responsible for compiling technical documentation in accordance with the machinery directive for all business machinery.
  • Assist with the creation of technical documentation as and when required.
  • Update and edit existing documentation as and when required.
  • Assist with the production of technical manuals to ensure availability with machine deliveries target 100% availability
  • Assist with the translation process required to meet documentation deadlines target 100% availability
  • Assist with the translation, screen capture and desktop publishing work required to meet documentation deadlines target 100% availability
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation records.
  • Create Purchase Orders and receipt invoices for Documentation Dept requirements
  • You must have proven administrative experience within a technical environment,
  • Ability to manage a high level of workload and prioritise tasks accordingly,
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
