Maintenance Team Member

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, fixing and maintaining equipment and machinery
  • Completing scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing
  • Providing information and advice on maintenance issues to clients and customers
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure that they complete projects on time
  • Painting and decorating or conducting repairs to flooring and other fittings
  • Ensuring rooms are maintained and fully equipped
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
