Your new companyIs an established and growing business in manufacturing for the construction business. They are a a respected, quality brand and are looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly team. The office is busy and sociable and team fit is important.
The companyprides itself on listening to employees and management is very approachable.

Your new roleBased in their offices in Chesham you will be the sole credit controller supported by two part time members of the finance team.

  • Ensuring all unallocated payments are accounted for and reconciled
  • Review and maintain customers current credit limits / payment terms
  • Dealing with customer invoice queries and liaising with staff members to settle queries in a timely manner
  • Maintaining and updating account information
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Monthly Statements
  • Discuss and report any problematic accounts to the Line Manager in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and colleagues at all times to ensure an efficient and smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • Any other Ad hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Credit Controller who has excellent customer services skills and will build great working relationships with customers and colleagues.

You will enjoy problem solving and will have great attention to detail. Experience of Sage 200is advantageous but definitely not essential.

What is essential is a sociable and friendly personality, customer focus balanced with ambition to succeed in debt management and a desire to take control of your ledger.


What you'll get in return
The salary is up to £27,000 with a quarterly bonus scheme. 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (3 days needed for Christmas). The hours are 9-5 with an hour for lunch. There is free parking on site and the offices are open and friendly. Although primarily officebased the role could allow for one day working from home.
