About the role

We're looking for a Video Editor who will be creating and delivering brilliant work for a range of global brands. At Coolr, we don't just want button pushers, we want people with their own creative ideas and technical solutions to produce great social moments daily, across social platforms.

The job

Every role at Coolr plays a vital part in the work we do. Here are some of the key areas of responsibility for this role:

  • Be a first-class, social first - video editor.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge editing social content.
  • Translate design concepts and storyboards to create high-end edits with short turnaround.
  • Be able to work at pace and possess a contemporary stylistic flair that can flex to all types of filmed content and all types of clients.
  • Confident with all digital moving image formats and technical delivery specifications.
  • Work across an edit from creating proxies, through to grade and final delivery.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, as well as good attention to detail.
  • Love social and have a strong interest in emerging creator talent.

What we are looking for

Whilst we appreciate, you're not just your CV and skills are transferable, these are some of the skills and experiences we think would set you up for success in this role:

  • Be a proficient, stylistic, and confident hands-on social creator.
  • Be well versed and experienced with Adobe CC, especially Premiere pro. After effects and Photoshop experience is ideal.
  • Strong ability to adapt to different clients.
  • Understand what makes the audience engage and stay on top of social trends.
  • Confidence for creative freedom.
