BeeU Services Shropshire, Telford & Wrekinare excited to offer a Band 6 MH Practitioner role with our Assessment Pathway.

This crucial role in processing, assessing and determining the mental health, neuro developmental and social care needs for Children /Young People.


The role will require excellent risk assessment, decision making, and management skills; to enable safe and effective responses for an identified client group.


You will assist in the delivery of a high standard of Mental Health Care to Children/Young People who have been referred to the service.

Youwill implement agreed systems within BeeU Assessment Pathway regarding triaging of referrals from GP, Education and Social Care.

This will require good understand of partnership organisations such as BEAM, Healios, Social Care, Adult Mental Health, Charitable and Third Party organisations.

In addition, clinical knowledge of risk management and waiting times for assessments will be required for triage dutyto ensuremonitoring of effectiveness of care and delivery of assessments.


You will participate in the delivery of the agreed aims within wider BeeU Services inline with Operational Framework such attending MDT Meeting on a daily basis to discuss outcomes from assessments.

This role includes assessing mental health referrals into BeeU Services; which will be face to face and video determining MH needs, risks and urgency of response.


To provide effective advice and guidance to meet needs of service user and or professional with follow up calls, in accordance with Recovery Wellbeing & Thrive principles.
