Assistant Psychologist in Bee U Autism Team

We are delighted to recruit to a new Assistant Psychologist post within BeeU.

Bee U is an emotional wellbeing, mental health and neurodevelopmental service for Children and Young People in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

This post will sit within a small and welcoming Autism Assessment Team and will contribute towards specialist neuro-developmental assessments for children and young people.

The multi-disciplinary Autism team is led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and made up of Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing.

There may be duties and opportunities to work across different pathways within BeeU.


You will support the multi-disciplinary team by contributing to Autism assessments for children and young people within Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

You will contribute towards initiatives to support families whilst awaiting an Autism assessment.


You will liaise with clinicians within BeeU as well as external agencies in order to obtain and interpret information required as part of a neurodevelopmental assessment.

You will be involved in local audits and service evaluation projects.

There may be duties and opportunities to work across different pathways within BeeU.
