The Storage & Audit Co-ordinator is responsible for the provision of an efficient administrative system to ensure that there is effective consent in place for all patients with gametes and/or embryos stored within the Department of Reproductive Medicine at Saint Mary's Hospital in accordance with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA).The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the quality and audit functions within the department.

Main duties of the job

Operate in accordance with HFEA Regulations and Trust Departmental Policies and Standard Operating Procedures within the department.

Handle patient records as appropriate ensuring that they are tracked as per Trust Policies and Procedures.

Provide Audit data as required.

Manage and co-ordinate the consent to treatment and storage audits in accordance with the DRM audit calendar set by the Quality Manager

Propose changes to policies and processes where opportunities for efficiencies/quality are identified.
