Academy Assistant

PQA Swindon is looking for an enthusiastic Academy Assistant to join our team due to expansions.

About the role:

  • This is a _regular position, roughly 41 Saturdays throughout the year. We have 2 sessions AM 09:45 to 13:00 and PM 13:30 to 16:45. Salary is £1830 per session (depending on age) so £3460 for the day.


You will need a knowledge of Performing Arts and a passion for working with children and young people aged years old, to help with the running of our classes.


Duties:

  • Assist in the teaching of students aged 618 years;
  • Assisting teachers with their showcases where reasonably required;
  • Welcoming parents and answering queries;
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of essential equipment required to run classes;
  • Complying with the Company's policies, training manuals and modules and with our Codes of Behaviour;

About you:

  • Already having an enhanced DBS on the update service would be advantageous but can be arranged
  • Knowledge of dance, singing and drama.
  • Experience in working with young children.
  • Having a First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 8 per week

Salary:
£18.00-£30.00 per day
