Our partner school in the borough of Southwark is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in their lovely primary school.

You will be providing support to the class teacher through one-on-one support to SEN pupils and children in small groups, ensuring that all children have equal support throughout their education as well as helping with general teaching assistant roles.

You will also help the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student as well as monitoring their progress as the academic year develops and providing feedback to class teacher, parents and the SLT.

To be considered for this role, you need to have a desire to work with children, and commitment to help children progress socially, emotionally and academically.

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly advised, however, you need to have dedication patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
