Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term to Permanent

Location: Lambeth, London

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to pupils with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the school's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to discuss pupil progress and any behavioral changes.
  • Develop and implement flexible learning approaches to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Deliver one-to-one support to pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Cache/NVQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Autism Level 1 or equivalent.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
