As the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Tech Lead at Abcam you are responsible for delivery of automation at abcam that will inform and accelerate our business worldwide across all business functions.

The role will lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of our RPA projects at abcam.

We are a part of Data & Analytics (D&A) within abcam's Digital department who act as innovation incubator, enabling analysts to build solutions that enhance data informed decisions.

The knowledge, tools and mindset we provide allow abcam to leverage data as competitive advantage and drive business success.

The RPA team is the core capability for automation at abcam and is vital to the acceleration of business processes to drive business value in areas such as time to market or customer satisfaction.

Process Analysis and Engineering
Work closely with business stakeholders to help translate business requirements into solutions
Perform feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for RPA implementation.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, scalability, reliability, reusability and maintainability of the automation solutions
Testing and Quality Assurance
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of RPA bots,
Ensure compliance with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Deployment and maintenance
Coordinate the deployment of RPA bots into production environments
Provide ongoing monitoring, support and maintenance
Ensure optimal performance, availability, accuracy and reliability of solutions
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA development methodologies and practices at abcam
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong technical expertise in RPA platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft Power Automate.
Proficient in programming languages like C#, Java, or Python.
Familiarity with databases including SQL and NoSQL
Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
