Role Overview:

In this position, you will support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. Taking charge of several responsibilities to ensure the store's KPIs are met. Additionally, in the absence of the Manager, you will act as the main point of contact, motivating the team to boost sales, provide exceptional customer service, exceed targets, and uphold the company's standards.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Ensure customers receive attentive and professional service during their visit.
  • Handle inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a consistent standard of dress and appearance for the team.
  • Understand and participate in customer service evaluation programs.

Sales

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets where feasible.
  • Interpret relevant Oracle reports effectively.
  • Encourage team members to utilize in-store devices for optimal performance.
  • Analyze Footfall, ATV, and Conversion through the store's dashboard confidently.

Visual Merchandising

  • Utilize visual techniques to attract and engage customers for in-store purchases.
  • Execute the weekly brief effectively in-store.
  • Ensure correct pricing, amendments, and POS displays.
  • Maintain clean and presentable stock displays.

Training & Development

  • Develop internal staff and support career progression.
  • Monitor training progress through relevant assessments.
  • Assist in recruitment, inductions, and staff training.
  • Prioritize management development with the Trainee Management Academy.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

  • Prior experience in Retail Management.
  • Strong Time Management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
