Rumor has it RELOcruitment is teaming up with an acclaimed Removals & Storage Company that delivers top-notch removals and storage services worldwide.

The company is in search of a Sales Consultant to cover the areas of Cambridge, Colchester & Norwich and everything in between. You'll be spending most of your time on the road visiting customers, with the option to work from any of the mentioned locations.

The primary goal of this role is to boost territory revenue by introducing new service lines while upholding the brand's image and ensuring profitable revenue with expected margins.

As a Sales Consultant handling both field and video interactions, your job is to assist customers interested in moving with the company, building strong relationships, and establishing instant rapport.

Having a deep understanding of customers and the challenges of moving is crucial – your natural approach will help customers feel comfortable when making critical decisions.

The perfect candidate will possess a solid sales background in the Removals sector, although experience in related industries will also be taken into account.

Responsibilities:

  • Showcase professional and responsible selling consistently.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with business partners to foster future connections.
  • Engage as part of a dynamic sales team, both on-site and via video.
  • Conduct customer surveys through phone, video calls, self-surveys, and field sales.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates using the designated forms.
  • Determine margins considering factors like move dates, insurance values, competition, and customer trust in the brand.
  • Promote insurance sales and additional services.
  • Explore opportunities for additional revenue streams.
  • Prepare and present quotations to customers.
  • Follow up on all jobs until completion and maintain records in Navision.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to plan moves and set service standards.
  • Brief the local operational team before each move.

Experience:

  • Prior successful field/video sales experience in removals preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to build alliances and sustain relationships.
  • Understanding of customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Effective networking skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
