Overview
Pragmatic is seeking an outstanding Brand Director to join its rapidly-growing Marketing team.

Reporting to the SVP Corporate Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs, this is an exciting, strategic position with responsibility for leading and developing the Brand strategy and delivering effective execution of operational plans to engage, deliver and report brand to our core targets:

customers (across the value chain), public sector bodies (government, Industry Associations), media (T1, trade and vertical), industry analysts, talent and investors.

You will act as the brand guardian and champion to bring the brand to life and showcase the revolutionary approach Pragmatic is taking to semiconductors with FlexIC technology.

You will be an experienced brand expert and leader who relishes the opportunity to build a new category, develop and evolve brand direction and assets to help scale the business, embracing creative and innovative approaches, to drive meaningful impact on business growth.

We would ideally prefer the successful candidate to be able commute to our Cambridge office for a minimum of three days per week.

Key tasks

Devise strategy to deliver effective and impactful branding that strengthens and grows brand awareness, perception and engagement, delivering meaningful results aligned to the business objectives
Deliver brand programs and plans that drive significant engagement and impact across the marketing funnel with our core target audiences
Responsibility for the full brand mix and brand application spanning: -Brand strategy and evolution – visual, tone of voice, logos -Brand guidelines and assets -Omni-channel marketing and advertising -Co-Marketing -Digital -Campaigns -Events / trade shows – owned and industry
Provide competitor analysis and displace competitor activity/technology through the brand direction
Lead the brand guidelines, partner access, usage and application
Optimise brand exposure, application and amplification across 360 marketing efforts and with ecosystem partners
Drive effective brand application programs – co-ordinating across the team - to improve meaningful results that support the company brand and reputation and ultimately impact business results and performance, supporting revenue and pipeline growth
Budget management responsibility

Team management:
support and drive a high-reaching, creative and proactive culture that empowers and motivates
Act as a solid partner to the SVP Corporate Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs
Devise and be responsible for the brand critical metrics and lead regular reporting
Qualifications and training
Degree qualification in brand, marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Skills and experience

Growth mindset with a proactive, resilient and solution-based approach required for a scale up and driving the business through a period of hyper growth
Experienced brand leader with a consistent track record of leading, building and curating B2B brand strategy and delivery of operational programs in the tech sector
Ability to shape brand plans and tools and scale with internal partners (leadership, sales, internal comms, product management etc.) as well as externally with key customers, partners and other ecosystem collaborators
Experience in semiconductor / RFID sectors (advantage)
Strategic approach with the ability and desire to roll your sleeves up and drive delivery as and where required
Ability to deliver outstanding brand programs and plans
Team management experience, and ability tocoach to optimise performance
Ambition to seek out creative and innovative brand approaches, using an excellent understanding of the latest brand trends & tools
Budget and reporting management experience
Experience of handling external agencies
A self-starter with excellent communication skills
Ability to work at pace, and to tight deadlines
