Summary


The Accounts Assistant / Accounts Executive position is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to help grow our company using the experience and knowledge from previous positions.


This role is ideal for someone who has 1-2 years' experience within an accounts department and looking for the next step in their career.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supplier invoice/credit note processing.
  • Handling supplier queries.
  • Supplier statement checking and reconciliation.
  • BACS payment runs.
  • Processing and paying weekly staff expenses and any ad hoc payments.
  • Maintaining and reconciling Cash Books.
  • Ensuring disputes, queries and unallocated amounts are cleared for Purchase Ledger.
  • Supporting the Credit Control team with any additional duties when required.

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience or exposure of Purchase Ledger is essential.
  • A knowledge of ledger reconciliations, cashbooks, general bookkeeping skills would be an advantage.
  • Ability to use multifunctional software packages.
