REED Further Education on behalf of a FE college based in East Riding of Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Functional Skills Tutor.


The successful Functional Skills Tutor will;

  • You will prepare creative and engaging teaching materials for classes.
  • You will deliver taught classes to student groups, with clear intentions and welldefined outcomes.
  • You will manage student progress and achievement through the modules you deliver.
  • You will evaluate students work and provide timely, constructive feedback.

The successful Functional Skills Tutor will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Vocationally relevant qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Appropriate Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • Experience of supporting learners through assignments and assessments.
  • Math's and English at Level 2 or above.
