About the role:


As a Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor, you will have the exciting opportunity to transfer your passion for sports and coaching into the education sector.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering preplanned lessons and supervising classroom activities during teacher absences.
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and participation.
  • Building rapport with students and promoting positive behaviour management.
  • Supporting students with their learning, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Vision for Education is working with schools across the Teesside and North Yorkshire area to support them with fantastic staff on a full time basis.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Sport Coach you will:

  • Previous experience as a sports coach or educator, with a strong understanding of effective coaching techniques.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young people and a genuine desire to contribute to their education and personal development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings on both short and longterm placements.

  • Previous experience as a sports coach or educator.
