  • Experience working in a Builders' Merchants or similar industry would be beneficial
  • Targeted Sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment is essential for this role

Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position, working Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm plus every other Saturday from 8am to 12pm

What will I be doing in the role?
Our
Counter Sales Advisor is a key role in the business.

A great
Counter Sales Advisor** will help keep our business running smoothly, and continue to build and develop customer relationships and sales opportunities.

To support the business, you will;

  • Maximise customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and crossselling relevant products offering specific product advice
  • Develop new customer accounts and lapsed accounts
  • Realise full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
  • Support with Yard Sales as well as supporting other areas in the branch
  • Support all Company initiatives
  • Follow plans to continuously improve customer experience
  • Advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
