Job Title: Section Manager
Welcome to the job description for the Section Manager role at BYLOR, a joint venture between Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O'Rourke. Together, we are responsible for delivering the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC).
As a Section Manager, you will collaborate closely with the construction manager to ensure that the project is constructed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and according to the agreed schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractors daily on a floor/zone basis
- Ensuring works meet quality benchmarks and specifications
- Overseeing building experience specific to internal/fit out trades
- Holding a degree in construction management or civil engineering
- Demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
- Utilizing BIM -2D and 3D at a basic-intermediate level
- Presenting a professional image and upholding project values
- Possessing safety accreditations such as IOSH/SMSTS
Requirements:
- Degree in Building/Construction management or Civil engineering
- 1-5 years+ buildings experience
